Good Morning All,

We have a beautiful day here in Illinois. Temperature is in the 60's this morning, (in August!) and Hannah Marie is up and shouting. She is obviously ready to get on with her day's routine. She has had some milk, and is saying in her two year old voice, "Hi Daddy, Hi Daddy, Hi Daddy..." So sweet.

Part of her days routine will be to have some glycobears to make sure she gets her glyconutrients, to ward off issues like diabetes.

From the book, "The Healing Power of 8Sugars", compiled and edited by Allan C. Somersall, p. 88...

"Numerous children today are afflicted with serious chronic illnesses, some of which were never previously common in children. One such disease is diabetes type 2, which is ironically known as "adult onset" diabetes or even more precisely, non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. As of 2004, 1 in 500 children in the U.S. have a diagnosis of diabetes, including both type 1 and type 2. We can compare this to 1945-1969 when a mere 1 in 7100 children had diabetes. Since 1958, diabetes in the U.S. has tripled to 16 million cases and is now the fourth leading cause of death overall.

Studies have shown some impressive improvements in patients with diabetes and its associated complications, after supplementing with glyconutritionals, with and without other nutriceuticals.

The result was a 97% overall health improvement. Up until the discovery and testing of these nutrients, there were never results such as these in diabetes studies, for any other type of dietary supplementation."

Frazzled Dad will send more information tomorrow about why glyconutrients are safe for kids. (Hint-Glyconutrients are from plants.)

O.K., O.K. Hannah Marie, we can begin to play now. She is so alive and vibrant. Frazzled Dad Mike

Glyconutrients and Diabetes.

Please check out a wonderful new book called "In Search of Manna, Your Guide to Glyconutrients and Meridians "by Michael Schlachter, M.D. and T. Aristotle D.C., L.Ac. Dr. Schlachter and Mr. Aristotle have written a wonderful book outlining emergency and maintenance doses of glyconutrients and also what acupuncture and acupressure points should be worked on in conjunction with the glyconutrients. If you are at all into alternative/complementary solutions to medical problems, then this book is a treasure trove of ideas to try out.

A personal message from Dr. Schlacter.

You will not heal by taking drugs. Your health and healing is determined by how well you eat. Our food supply is lacking appropriate nutrients and this cannot by helped by synthetic additives. The only rational approach to health is to take food based nutrients in supplemental form. It is your responsibility to decide which nutrients are best for you and your family.

A personal message from Dr. Aristotle.

Research has shown that in addition to the arteries, veins, lymphatics and nerves, there exists a bioelectric energetic conduit known as the meridian system. These acupuncture meridians conduct energy throughout the entire body affecting structure, function, and emotion. An ancient translation taught to first year students of Eastern Medicine is the following;

A meridian affects where it courses through and to....

Welcome to my blog discussing glyconutrients and diabetes. I hope to pass along some very interesting research information about glyconutrients and diabetes.

Glyconutrients are an amazing discovery from the newly emerging science of glycomics. Glyconutrients are a combination of eight essential monosaccharides (sugars) necessary for cell to cell communication. Did you know that cells communicate through touch? Yes, and glyconutrients are the alphabet that cells create their "words" from. So if there are missing letters, cell communication is garbled. Bad news.
